Where does the remorse come from for the Syrian blood? Al-Ibrahimi after Anan!

When people are chosen for the mission of a size as what the UN Envoy represents for solving a crisis as the complexity, intergradations, and the danger of the Syrian crisis, this means the availability of number of conditions in his personality that surpass the limits of being a well-known man and a magnet for the media means, at least in terms of cleverness, smartness, and the political culture, and the knowledge of the region’s struggle and its complexities, as well the ability to bear the responsibility of making efforts that allow to end  the crisis which bears the falling of martyrs and bloodshed, thus this annoys and worries the conscience of the UN Envoy and makes him feel a tense humanitarian situation each day passes without success, and a conscience state that suffers from what can be known of facts and realities, but cannot be adopted in forming the desired solution.

Syria has known before appointing the current UN Envoy Steffan De Mistura two figures, each one of them has recorded facts that were full of responsibilities, tasks, and a biography that suggested experience, culture, and the knowledge of the region’s crises and its complexities, each one of them has already dealt with important stations of its history, and has interacted with prominent figures in it. Kofi Anan who was sympathetic with the Lebanese and the Palestinian people in the confrontation with the Israeli occupation as it was said about him. And also after him Al-Akdar Al-Ibrahimi who was a positive mediator between Syria, Saudi Arabia, and America in forming Al-Taif Agreement which is dedicated to Lebanon, as he has presented himself as an honest mediator between the parties after his Iraqi and Afghan endeavors.

In the experience of Syria, the appointment of the two Envoys Kofi Anan and Al-Akdaer Al-Ibrahimi successively was by a known American decision; Syria has paid high costs for their practical alignment for the project of falling it, and employing their mediator positions to present testimonies and to make positions that agitated the conflict, and caused the falling of blood as well as paved the way for the foreign interventions including the threat of wars and invasions, these positions ignored the flow of ten thousands of terrorists, and contributed in promoting them as reactions of what their positions called” the performance of the Syrian country and its institutions”, which its name became in their statements “ the regime, its army, and its loyal militants” Kofi Anan has exerted pressure on the Syrian country to withdraw its troops from the cities, he bore the responsibility of the falling of Homs twice at the hands of the gangs of murder and terrorism, and what that led to blood till its liberation at the hands of the Syrian Arab Army and its allies. Al-Ibrahimi who has told the Syrian President repeatedly about American, Saudi, and Turkish concealed threats, they have led to his firing repeatedly and politely through informing him that the date has ended, and have led repeatedly to the refusal of the Syrian President to receive him, he was promoting for the necessity of the President’s stepping down to ensure the political solution, moreover he was employing the military pressure which the terrorism is practicing for this purpose, furthermore he became stronger through the American, Saudi, and the Turkish threats as well as with the Israeli attacks to promote the calls to surrender and giving Syria to the forces of terrorism and aggression.

After his leaving the mission, Anan has expressed his remorse for what he called the dirty role, which he has been implicated in its performance, he felt of bitterness for his discovering that he was used to cover the control of the terrorism on several Syrian areas, today Al-Ibrahimi has come out with a statement looks like him in essence but without remorse, he said that that the developments in Syria proved that Russia knows what is going on in Syria and its balances more than others, and if the Arabs heard the advices of Moscow, the crisis would end four years ago.

We will forgive Anan because we are ready to believe what he wants to express of remorse out of good intentions by which he has fallen in deception, but we will not forgive for Al-Ibrahimi who cannot claim the ignorance, or the lack of information, therefore in order to believe him he has to admit of what he has earned in exchange of this dirty role in the war on Syria.
