The Kurds, the Saudis, and the mismanagement

The Turks present an example of the opportunities of the positioning which the variables of the war on Syria give, and the divergence of the results in the light of how to deal with them. Turkey which precedes the ranks of fighters and which has put its geography and its historic dreams in the service of this war and has linked the fate of the future of its ruling regime and its regional status with the outcomes of the war was able to move to a new bank in this war, where it puts its priorities and its interests in a position that precedes the obstinacy, maliciousness, and illusions. Without saying it tells the Americans and others that no one can bid on it in the size of the paid costs regarding the account of this war, no one can bid on the size of the preparation, because when it faced the dangers and paid the costs it did not find anyone beside it, it stood alone, so no one can blame it, it went searching for its interests, and now it determines them after a campaign of political and security coordination with Moscow and Tehran by preventing the completion of achieving the Kurdish borderline, and oblige the Kurdish protection units to return to the east of the Euphrates under US coverage, it has inspired the Kurdish units that it provided the necessary coverage for its project by linking the areas in which the Kurds exist militarily, but the coverage was available just to provoke the Syrian army not to rebel against the Turkish decision.

Turkey which appeared in a state of rendition and extradition with ISIS in the battle of Jarablos said publicly that its issue is to prevent the Kurdish positioning in the west of the Euphrates. It knows that it gives the nominations of the opposition coalition and its free army the opportunity to emerge victorious as they need, and it gives them the opportunity of alienating from the fronts of Aleppo and its countryside and from Idlib and its countryside where there are the battles between the Syrian army and its allies and Al Nusra front, in order to fight through them to continue the rendition and the extradition with ISIS on one hand, and to exclude the Kurdish units towards the west till Al Qamishli and Amouda on the other hand. Through this geography, the title of the opposition will be positioned and,it will be present under the Turkish demand away gradually from the Saudi influence in a moment where the harmony between the Turkish and the Saudi positions toward Syria is no longer exist, either in terms of the coordination with Moscow and Tehran or in terms of the priority of the goal. Saudi Arabia does not mind the fragmentation of Syria in the chaos as long as there is no resolving in international legitimacy regarding the rule under the presidency of the President Bashar Al-Assad, and since it has followers, partners, and allies in geography of Syria even if they are from Al-Qaeda organization, while the Turkish priority realizes that the way to get rid of the Kurdish borderline is the partnership with Russia and Iran in getting rid of the presence of cantons in Syria such as an emirate of Al Nusra and a succession of ISIS, and accepting to gather the fragments of the Syrian parties in the project of the united state under the title of a formulation of government under the presence of the Syrian president and presenting electoral promise of international guarantees to the opposition.

The new Turkish positioning refers to that the concession may not be scandalous and thus becomes a resounding defeat, and that the formal victories can compensate the scene and give due regard, The tripartite the Russian, Iranian, and the Syrian does not seek to humiliate its opponents who return to positioning at the lines of understandings. Because if the leaders of the Kurdish committees did what the Turks have done, then they would meet more exits of face saving, comparing with what they will be after the American’s giving up and calling them to comply to the Turkish threat to stay away from the east of the Euphrates, also if the Saudis did that then they would receive welcoming from Moscow and Tehran that Erdogan did not ever receive, and they would receive political solutions in Syria and Yemen that give them a status and a role that preserve the interests and face saving. But the problem of the Kurdish and the Saudi leaderships that they placed illusion instead of fact, A Saudi illusion of the effect of money and waiting for after the US presidential elections and what will be implemented by Hillary Clinton of prepaid commitments for her electoral campaign, and a Kurdish illusion of what can be done by the Americans. Each one of them has an American bet in the honor of the pledges; they forgot that they are buying promises by promises, positions by offerings and money. So as long as they know that the matter is buying and selling according the America, so how can the honor and the fulfillment have an existence. Tomorrow the American will sell as he bought and will buy as he sold.
