Washington appears to have relocated its entire military arsenal to the region, as if preparing for an existential war rather than a mere tactical operation to support its regional ally, the occupying entity, with the necessary equipment to bolster its defences against Iran.

The deployment now includes three aircraft carriers, dozens of destroyers, submarines, and warships, along with hundreds of aircraft and missile defence systems.

Meanwhile, the State Department has announced the delivery of dozens of planes and thousands of missiles to the occupying entity, with costs exceeding $20 billion.

Statements from U.S. President Joe Biden, along with the State Department, Department of Defense, and National Security Council, have taken on a warning tone, cautioning Iran and resistance forces about the consequences of targeting or harming the occupying entity.

They suggest that even the call for a negotiation session on Gaza, scheduled for tomorrow, Thursday, is reason enough to hold off on any response to the entity.

Meanwhile, The New York Times reports that Benjamin Netanyahu has imposed a series of additional conditions designed to sabotage the negotiations, according to officials in the entity’s negotiating team.

Netanyahu’s office, however, indirectly confirmed the report by dismissing it, claiming that the conditions were merely necessary clarifications to ensure proper implementation.

Washington’s main concern is the appearance of the negotiation session and the ability to claim that talks have begun with opportunities for an agreement.

This narrative suggests that any response from Iran and the resistance forces would disrupt these chances.

Meanwhile, Hamas insists that Netanyahu must first approve the text that it has already agreed to, which is reflected in the UN Security Council resolution adopting President Joe Biden’s initiative.

Only after this can the implementation mechanisms be discussed, as stated in the joint U.S.-Egyptian-Qatari communiqué.

 On the Iranian side, two key points are underscored: first, the right to a deterrent response following repeated aggressions, and the view that the previous response in April was inadequate to dissuade the entity’s leadership from provoking Iran and targeting its institutions and symbols.

This provocation peaked with the attack on Tehran, which led to the assassination of a prominent Palestinian leader, Ismail Haniyeh.

Second, Iran has taken comprehensive steps to clarify its position diplomatically, including direct communications, engagements with the UN Security Council, participation in various conferences, and submissions affirming that international law supports its right to a deterrent response for defending its sovereignty.

This was the essence of a press conference by Acting Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri Kani, marking the end of Iran’s diplomatic efforts.

Sources indicate that this now paves the way for military action, with responsibility for planning, timing, and the level of response shifting to military leaders focused on achieving deterrence.
