As resistance rockets pounded Israeli sites in northern occupied Palestine and attacking-drones struck command centres of its forces in the Golan, the leadership of the resistance received a message from the Palestinian resistance. The message called on them, along with Iran, Syria, Iraq, and Yemen, to enter a new phase of the war, referred to as the reopening of the gates of Khaybar.

The message reflects the Gaza resistance’s awareness of the occupation entity’s deepening crisis on one hand and the stalled negotiation process on the other. It has become evident that the U.S., which fundamentally supports the war and the occupation, has shifted from fearing escalation to endorsing it. This shift turns all negotiation initiatives into traps aimed at fulfilling the occupation’s goals, as seen in U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken’s efforts. His initiative, initially presented as pressure on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, ultimately revealed the inclusion of Netanyahu’s demands in revised clauses of President Joe Biden’s proposal, which the resistance, represented by Hamas, had accepted over a month ago. At the conclusion of his tour in Doha, Blinken reiterated his blame on Hamas for the stalled negotiations, again citing Netanyahu’s approval of the deal. President Biden, without hesitation, accused Hamas of reneging on its agreement to his initiative. In response, Hamas disclosed the proposal they were offered, highlighting that the modifications were entirely Netanyahu’s demands, asserting that it was Biden who had reneged on his own initiative.

In the aftermath of the stalled negotiation process, the Palestinian resistance in Gaza sent a message with profound meanings and implications to the resistance in Lebanon. It stated: “From the heart of Gaza, from the midst of confrontations, fighting, and the dust of battles, and from the heart of our steadfast and enduring people’s suffering, we send you these words in these pivotal moments in the history of the nation and the betrayal of both distant and near. This terrified enemy, as described by His Eminence Secretary-General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, may God protect him, as being weaker than a spider’s web, now stands on tiptoe, consumed by fear and painful anticipation – of the days, nights, and battlefield.”

The message added, “The enemy has miscalculated and misjudged, and we are certain that you will carry out your mission with great competence. With God’s help, we will witness the strength and resolve of your struggle. You and our other brothers in the resistance axis, from Islamic Iran to Arab Syria, to noble Iraq, and reaching to the cherished Yemen, which has carved into Islamic and Arab history with blood and gunpowder, which has etched the deepest meanings of loyalty to Palestine and its cause, today is the time, O heroic Mujahideen, to advance toward reopening the gates of Khaybar and working for the removal of ‘Israel’ from existence”.
