Haifa and Tiberias’s Rockets

Political Commentary

The resistance did not announce that it had targeted the cities of Haifa or Tiberias, nor did it declare that it had initiated the equation of “civilians for civilians”. What it did say was that it targeted military bases in the areas of Haifa and Tiberias. However, the fall of the resistance’s rockets within these cities and the resulting injuries among settlers cannot be dismissed by the occupying entity as mere technical errors, especially given the resistance’s well-known precision in targeting and striking.

Let the entity, along with its settlers, understand that when they hear the resistance is aiming at a military base, its rockets could very well land on their heads. This savagery, brutality, and barbarism in targeting civilian areas in the south, the southern suburbs, and the Beqaa cannot go unanswered, even if not explicitly declared.

They would be fools and imbeciles not to realise that the equation has been activated. Haifa for the southern suburbs, Tiberias and the slopes of the Golan for the Beqaa, and all northern settlements for the towns and villages of the south – depth for depth. The resistance has spared Tel Aviv in exchange for Beirut, respecting a balance to avoid giving the enemy an excuse to bomb the capital in retaliation for strikes on the southern suburbs. Meanwhile, the airport-for-airport, port-for-port, and electricity-for-electricity equation remains intact.

These blessed rockets announce that the resistance has regained the initiative, overcoming the difficult days and their repercussions. They also declare that a new phase has begun, promising that the night of suffering in the southern suburbs, the Beqaa, and the south will not last long. The resistance, true to its word to protect its people, has returned to safeguard its own, while its fighters defend the nation’s honour on the frontlines, etching the most heroic chapters in history.

The timing of the rockets marks a year since the Al-Aqsa Flood, and the second year begins with a new equation. The leadership of the entity must grasp this and recalibrate its calculations, abandoning its arrogant rhetoric. The battlefield now speaks: the ground front remains unconquerable, and it now declares depth for depth and civilians for civilians.

These second-year rockets come at a time of Israeli faltering in organising a strike on Iran, due to the damage and strain on their airbases following the Iranian strike. The diminished capability of their air defences in handling Iranian missiles will soon be further tested, once the Israeli retaliation triggers an inevitable Iranian response.
