Following statements by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Imam Ali Khamenei, about the responsibility of the people and leadership to deliver a strong and painful response to the occupying entity and, by extension, the United States, after the recent attacks on “Iran and the Resistance Front”, as he described, massive demonstrations erupted in Iranian cities calling for a response that would “break the enemy’s back”. Political and military leaders then issued further statements affirming their readiness for such a response. Meanwhile, U.S. statements from the White House and Pentagon indicated an increase in military readiness to support the occupying entity, while simultaneously warning Iran against retaliating, asserting that Washington would be unable to restrain Tel Aviv if it did. At the same time, the U.S. military chief met with the occupying entity’s Chief of Staff to coordinate preparations for the anticipated response.

Within the occupying entity, two stories have surfaced concerning Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The first involves the cancellation of his planned visit to the northern border settlement of Metula after reports of a drone explosion targeting a military outpost there. Following widespread comments labelling Netanyahu as cowardly, his office issued a series of clarifications insisting that he was determined to complete the visit but was prevented by security forces. The second story relates to the explosive leaks scandal shaking the occupying entity, centred around Netanyahu’s office, which has identified Eli Feldstein, Netanyahu’s media advisor, as a key suspect in what is described as the most serious crime against the military in wartime. The leaked documents, reportedly forged in Netanyahu’s office and distributed to Western newspapers, were attributed to Shin Bet and included claims that families of prisoners in Gaza demanded tougher conditions for a prisoner swap and that Hamas leader, the martyr Yahya Sinwar, was preparing to leave Gaza with several female prisoners. Investigations reveal that the leaks aimed to sabotage the ceasefire and prisoner exchange negotiations for Gaza. Netanyahu fears that confessions from his detained advisor may implicate him in a crime that could prove difficult to escape.

In Lebanon, the Resistance released two videos. The first shows footage of the Imad 5 Operations Room, revealing a massive underground facility housing heavy missiles and underground launch technology. The second video documents the Resistance targeting soldiers and officers of the occupying entity’s 98th Brigade in the border area of Kafr Kila, following reports that the brigade had withdrawn from positions it advanced to in the outskirts of Khiam. The footage provides context for this retreat.
