Turkey which suits the Arabs

The words which were uttered by the Head of the political bureau of Hamas about the military coup in Turkey have aroused the disgusting of many Palestinian and Arab quarters, Meshaal did not only say that if the coup won, Palestine would be the bigger loser, but he added on Twitter that they accuse us of being the women of the Sultan commenting that it is an honor for us to be from the women of the Sultan and his bondwomen if the Sultan is Erdogan. Surely we will not discuss the desire of Meshaal to be from the women and the bondwomen of the Turkish President Recep Erdogan because it up to him, and there were precedents and wishes of that kind in other places that are not debated, they belong to their utters, but what does deserve the debate is the question about whether Palestine and the Arabs would really lose since their main cause is Palestine if the coup won, and successively which Turkey does suit the Arabs?

Certainly, according to the Arabs whose Palestine is their cause, the worst possibilities of the winning of the coup was the turning of Turkey to what it was before the rule of the Justice and Development Party as a disciplined member of NATO that is committed to its policies and sticks to its alliance with Israel, but at present and during Erdogan’s rule Turkey is behaving through the power of its Islamic title to grant the relation with the NATO and Israel sources of power which the army does not have, or any ruling regime without any Islamic title. So under the name of this Islamic title Turkey during years was able to lead the war on Syria and to develop this title to grant the formations of Al-Qaeda organization a secure shelter and a supportive background, a warehouse of weapons, and a fiery coverage that any rule of the army in Turkey does not dare to do so. But it can be said that one of the reasons for making the coup by the army is to put an end to this absurdity which started to threaten strongly the Turkish security. Therefore the limit of what the army can grant to Israel is the military and intelligence cooperation which neither Erdogan nor his rule stints of, on the contrary he offers under the strength of the Islamic title employing his influence on the Palestinian Movements at their forefront Hamas to give more of the political and security gains to Israel. In addition to what the Turkish Israeli understanding led of exchanging the services through the Israeli influence on the Kurdish situation in favor of Turkey and its security in exchange of the Turkish influence on Hamas Movement in favor of Israel and its security.

It is certain that the most suitable Turkey for the Arabs and Palestine is Turkey which stood outside the NATO and which leaves its understandings with Israel, but this Turkey does not seem possible or realistically conceivable in the coming days despite what such of this kind of positioning of the Turks is providing of opportunities in playing Islamic and Arab role by the force of their supposed position in favor of the Palestinian cause and the issues of the Arab liberation. But till that time the choices are ranging between a coup that would not succeed to grasp Turkey, no matter how it has chances of more power under an elected government that has supportive street, armed militia, and expansions within the army and the military and the security services, and a leadership that is ready to fight till the end, because the limit of what the coup can accomplish is the division of Turkey between two centers Ankara and Istanbul for each of the army and the Muslim Brotherhood and the outbreak of a war of presence between them, this will lead to the retreat of the control of the two teams in the East, South, and West and the emergence of a kind of the security privacy in the Kurds’ areas, and the turning of the South into spots for organizations such of ISIS and Al Nusra. The presence of these two privacies reflect on each of Syria and Iraq with more trouble, chaos, and more of the Israeli relief which is currently missing in front of the increase of the chances of the returning to the central state in Iraq and Syria to adhere to the issue of the relationship with the Kurds and the guaranty of the national unity on one hand, and the adherence to the issue of the war on terrorism and the explicit progress in its fields at the expense of the bilateral ISIS and Al Nusra on the other hand, Israel said publicly that this raises its concern.

Among the possible options realistically is the option which we are witnessing now a failed coup in which weapons and active leaderships in the Turkish army participated, that led the Muslim Brotherhood who are stick to the rule in Turkey to a campaign of revenging that affects the two wings in the country and the community, they are what Erdogan has called as the deep country which he does not want to see, which is the bilateral of the army and the judiciary as a guarantor of what is known as the higher interests of the country on one hand. And on the other hand the Islamic social and cultural competitor who is represented by the advocates of the preacher Fathullah Golen. This campaign has led till now to put a sign of banning from travel on the names of three million Turkish people, and firing approximately one thousand of their jobs, in addition to arresting nearly twenty thousands, in a way that made Turkey lose its army and its judiciary, and thus turning it into a marginal force in the region and into a ruling type that does not like the rule of law in anything, putting its leaders under international pressures that oblige them to make concessions and to retreat from the regional game. It seems that this preoccupation and attrition in the position of the Turkish rule an ideal state to paralyze the effectiveness of the pivotal force which caused so far with most of the devastation that is happening under the slogan of the new Ottoman or the Muslim Brotherhood under the name of the Arab Spring.

Every Arab who is interested in the good neighborhood with the Turks and who is involved in the Palestinian Cause hopes that the Turks can overcome their current ordeal and return to a democratic peaceful regime towards neighboring, outside the illusions and the dreams of the Ottoman or the bullying. This regime is ready to build relationships of fraternity, solidarity integration and cooperation in at least the regional economy and security. This was the content of the call made by the Syrian President to the Turkish President for years ago under the slogan of the cooperation of the countries of the five seas which Turkey overlooks on two of them the Black and the Mediterranean Seas.
